"so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ" Philippians 1:10

It makes sense that if we know something, then we can do it. Our God is unchanging; what he has called us to do and the people we are to become is the same. Therefore, why should we deviate from what has been said in Scripture and think we know better than God?
