"But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice" Philippians 1:18

Perhaps the intention behind a person's action isn't our primary concern. Paul brings the perspective that it's all about the gospel being preached. He rejoices over the fact that Christ is being preached and not whether the peoples' motives are pure.
